What is a passenger assessment? A passenger assessment is a means of finding out which transfer method, type of vehicle or equipment is required to enable a person to access and travel safely in a vehicle.
Who is it for? Less able people of all ages; if you need specialist vehicle advice; children and families with special requirements.
Where will I be assessed? We can arrange an assessment at the following locations: The Cornwall Mobility Centre, Truro; The Echo Centre Liskeard; Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth; Exeter Mobility Centre, Exeter and Holsworthy Hospital, Holsworthy.
What does the assessment involve? The assessors will discuss your needs and any problems you currently have getting in and out of or travelling in a vehicle. They will also give you a full written report following the assessment.
Who will assess me? We have a team of assessors who are trained in assessing a person's needs with regard to travelling as a passenger in a vehicle.
