Friends of the Cornwall Mobility Centre
The "Friends" of the Cornwall Mobility Centre are a small group of volunteers, of all ages and abilities, dedicated to the raising of funds for much needed services and equipment that would otherwise not exist for the work of the Cornwall Mobility Centre.
They hold sales of goods and raffles at numerous events around the County throughout the year. The highlight is the "Annual Vintage & Classic Car Rally", held in October, when cars parade around the streets of Truro and back to the Mobility Centre for pasties, pastries, tea and a fete.
Supporting the Mobility Centre at these events throughout Cornwall helps to raise local awareness of the wonderful work carried out by the dedicated staff to people less fortunate than themselves.
As a Charity the Friends offer friendship to all their members.
