Amy is in charge of the office administration for the Wheelchair Workshops and Vehicle Adaptations. She is the first point of contact for the Workshops.
We can program most makes of wheelchairs and scooters to enable them to be made faster or slower depending upon your requirements. All programming is done through a computer based system in the Workshops; however, we are able to program your equipment at an alternative location using small hand held programmers.
The computer is used for battery test printouts and programming of equipment.
In the event that your equipment cannot be repaired on the day, perhaps due to new parts needing to be ordered, we have available a range of loan equipment and parts to help keep you independent. We currently have two power chairs, two scooters, a foldable manual wheelchair and a range of chargers, controllers, joysticks, motors etc.
This is where all batteries are tested and charged.
P.A.T. testing is available to ensure safe usage of your equipment.
There are many different types of tyres on the market. We stock a large range of tyres in the Workshops and are able to order tyres if the type you require is not in stock.
We have facilities to carry out repairs and also the fabrication for one-off parts.
We have a fully equipped van for emergency breakdowns and home servicing of equipment.
